Web Sites icon  Web Panoramas



A client developed and maintains the web site for a UK university, which wanted some 360 degree panoramas.

To help convey a real impression of their campus facilities, we prepared some web-enabled 360 degree panoramas. I think you'll agree that these are not just eye-candy, they really give a feel of being there.

Keyboard controls:

  • A, + and > = Zoom In
  • Z, - and < = Zoom Out
  • Arrow keys = Pan

We did not take the photos, but our job was to piece the photos together - sometimes only 12 photos but some scenes had up to 40 or so. We used the excellent PTGUI free Java software.
